 Gdansk Choir FestivalFriday, February 17, 2012 - Sunday, February 19, 2012 Gdansk (Poland) will host an International Gdansk Choir Festival from 17-19th February 2012. It's festival for competitive and non-competitive choirs. This year the head of the jury will be composer Vytautas Miskinis together with the Jury members from Macedonia, Singapore Slovakia and Poland. Most events will take place in Concert Hall of Gdansk Academy of Music as well as additional concerts in Gdansk and region. Further details can be found here. |
 Voices Festival, LiverpoolFriday, March 16, 2012 12pm - Sunday, March 18, 2012 1pm A three day festival of a cappella singing curated by Sense of Sound. Performers include Connie Lush and Shlomo and the festival will feature a debate of singing and health. "From hip hop to barbershop and contemporary jazz to choral, Voices a cappella festival will showcase the full range of a cappella singing styles, giving plenty of opportunity for everyone to interact, get involved and get singing!". Groups
Your choir can join Sing a cappella! as a singing group by filling in the "Join as a Group" registration form which can be found here. There will be a delay while your application is moderated, but once approved, your group name and details will appear in our Affiliates directory (in the Find menu). Group membership provides a number of benefits:
- an expanded web presence for member groups on our website, with photos, videos, and full rehearsal and other details
- listing for your concerts/gigs
- promotional action shots of member groups on the banner for our website front page
- members’ rates at selected events
- discounted membership of the National Federation of Music Societies (Making Music) and subsequent favourable public liability insurance rates
- all of the singers in Groups paying for Group Membership will have the same rights as Individual Members, including full website access and the right to vote at meetings
How much does Group membership cost?
Not very much! The amount depends on the size of your Group –

Individual membership
You can join Sing a cappella! as an individual by filling in the "Join as an Individual" registration form which can be found here.
A year’s individual membership will currently cost you £5 and will run for a year from when we receive your fee.
